Everyone is always saying that they want to go pro and they make it seem like they will be making the big bucks. But really, I feel that most pros are just trying to ski as long as they can without having to get a real job. Although now that the olympics are a factor, that has to be a huge goal for most. Im not one to normally talk and rant about how much people make a year, but what do you guys think pros make a year? obviously there are a few big names who make significantly more than others.
In my opinion, i feel that those who I consider "amateurs" are making like 15k a year and then the big pros with pro models are making 60k a year, but you have to realize that pretty much everything is paid for when it comes to lift tickets, lodging, etc. There are definatly people in between that number that I would consider just regular pros that are making around 35k. I could be wrong, but thats my take, whats yours?
