I have Fire Iridium in my Crowbars right now which are great for the occasional bluebird day, but living on the east coast I am usually skiing in cloudier conditions or at night. I am looking for a lower light lens but I also hate it when others can see my eyes. Any suggestions for a good all around lens? If having a mirrored effect and a low light lens is impossible then that's ok. I searched but not a lot came up. Sorry if this is a repost.
easy goggle lens tip- if people can't see your eyes, you can't see out.
If you want a lens that has a higher VLT (visible light transmission) you have better visibility at night/low light conditions because it lets more light in. If light comes in, you can see out.
the H.I. Yellow give great vision for low light days, and gives some depth perception on white outs, but a few other people of have talked to including myself had had problems with fogging with this lens. One reason mine fogs up so bad is that i had to very lightly wipe the inside of the lens (which removes anti-fog coating) which i would never have done if i hadn't been stuck in the middle of a sketchy line with no goggles not being an option.
i live on the east coast and got some crowbars with fire lense over the summer. would it be a good idea to get a lense i can use at night and lowlight? or does it not matter that much
I have permission and fire silver irridium I belive. The permission is good for at night but I use the other one the rest of the time, sometimes even at night if im too lazy to change them.
