just get a booster strap, better than stock power straps anyways

That happened to me last year. You can either order a strap through Dalbello but the piece is really easy to find from older snowboard bindings. I just went to the rental shop at my hill and they took one off a snowboard and put it on my boots.

Yeah, bent metal snowboard bindings have the exact same straps.
