How do I make sure a tree is grindable?

Felled a tree propped it up with it's stump and a log, smoothed it out. With all this though I am still afraid that it won't be very slideable. So if you could help me with this conundrum or point me towards something who can it would be much appreciated.

Try to stick your pole into it, to see how soft/hard it is. If it's too soft, it probably won't slide that good.

do it like you do for any girl, ask permission, and make sure it's not grinding with someone else. Then you can go in, the more time you spend, the closer you get you can cop a feel after a while if you feel like she's ight wit it

Just hit it, you can slide anything, even with bark on it. If you've already smoother it out it's prolly no big deal.


Just do it. Also if it's cold out it becomes far easier to slide.
