^it was scariest movie ive ever seen and the only real movie that actually 'scared' me. I thought it was great. At the end of the movie me and friend were so jumpy it was nuts like looking around in dark places ready so shit to pop out. I think we stayed up to til 4 and watched eurotrip to keep our minds off it. I wana so it stoned so badly-i would freak out.

i thought it sucked, it didnt scare me at all, i think i just dont become scared from movies since i have yet to see one that scared me. i mean donnie darko freaked me out because of frank but thats it.

I didn't find it scary at all, and I wasn't overly impressed with the special effects either, in fact I thought some of the special effects were just plain bad (for example the birds/bats flying around in some scenes just looked like someone put black marks on the film itself to make it look like something flying).

I think the original Exorcist was much better than this newer prequel. However, I liked the movie overall, I was just a little suprised that they went away from the mental/emotional fears that the original played against so well, and instead went after the more shock value of gore and shock value.

Just my 2 cents on the movie.
