hi guys! i used to ride on tecnica diablo flames 90 flex, 100mm last, 26.5 mondo and 304 BSL, and i wanted to buy dalbello krypton's pro, but the boot is not available in my area.. so i might have to buy it from the web not able to try it first. :-( so the question is if u know about the sizing comparing the tecnicas and krypton. the kryptons have 306 BSL at 26 / 26.5 mondo comparing to 304 BSL at 26/26.5 to diablo's and pro's has 98mm last comparing to 100mm last of diablos.. thx!
totaly agree!! but cause of the advantages of a three buckle system i am towards full tilts and dalbellos.. full titles are too soft for my taste so the best choise in papers at least would be the pro.. by advantages of 3 buckle i mean no side distortion causing the boot to feel soft before locking and the middle buckle seems to hold the heel better..
u r right guys!! if only i could find a boot that both fits my and is suitable for me.. u can hardly find a 80flex boot at my city.. and its too soft for me and thats the main reason i change my boots..
hmmm as i saw the site accepts returns with a full refund.. so i could try them if they fit at my place and there is something wrong i have lost only 10$ which is far less expensive than going elsewhere to try them.. so any ideas for the sizing?? :-)
I'd travel to the next town over/ look for more options. Even if you refund it, it's still a huge process to go through. Go get fitted, it'll be worth the time and travel
You actually seem to be very informed, much more than the typical person asking for boot help on line. Blah blah blah go to a boot fitter. Make sure that you are buying from a place with a quality return policy, and be prepared to send them back. Don't trick yourself into thinking that the boot fits when it doesn't.
hmmm seemes to i can find the krypton crosses near me... as i can see there no specific difference except the extra parts and the liner.. so do u think that if cross fits me right so will pro?? (i need the extra parts so the stiffer liner..)
If you have a shop that stocks a dalabello boot, why not go chat to the fitter and see if he thinks the Pro will fit. If he thinks it will get that shop to order the boot for you. It will cost more then getting it online but dont forget you will get the fitting and follow up fitting for free. If you go try a boot on thats not getting it fitted, and even if you try a boot on in a shop then buy that boot online you have not had it fitted. Boot fitters will make footbeds for the boot, adapt the shell and liner and do any other modifactions you require. You do not get any of this buying online and this is what really makes the boot fit. Alsways always buy in a shop if you can.
hmm bootfiter is an unknown word in my country.. if u go to a shop in my country they tell u to wear the boot and if the size is ok the boot its ok too.. very annoying thing believe me! the only shop thats has a good fitter is stocking only tecnicas that r not suitable to my foot.. they only think oicould do is to have him fit me the boot after i buy it from another shop or the net, free of charge cause is a friend of mine.. he used to fit me boots while i was racing mostly tecnicas in which there was no way to be 100% comfortable but it was only cared about performance so i didn't bother too much.. now that i am not racing but freeskiing i bother about comfort and performance too.. also there is no stock at the pros in my country.. so thats why i am asking u for help again and again... if i could find the mondo size for the pro i could try it on my own and if it was ok i could fit it there, or send it back with a refund.. but there is no way to fit it in a store.. :-(
Well then really it comes down to 2 options, buy the boot online, take it to your mate to try and get it fitted. Hopefully they can get it to fit, but if they cant you will not be able to return it online as you will have had work done on it.
Option 2 is get a boot fitted which is available to you locally. You will surly be able to find somthing other then technica, yes you may have to drive a few hours but it will be worth it.
Dont just think 3 piece boots will instanly be better, they have some nice features but there not miracle boots, if they dont fit, they will suck.
