please give the reasons why? because we've stopped 2 of the worlds most wanted terroists, shut down corrupt governments that could harm the rest of the world, we are keeping n.korea from throwing an apocalyptic shitstorm on the rest of the world , so please do tell? yeah we may have fucked up rules but they keep us safe. we may be cocky but how in the first Gen from Canada so i could go either way but no, america is a huge part of the foundation to this world, im not saying were the best im sayin that people realize all we fucking try to do is help and when little girls step in and don't know half the shit there talking about. besides where would this world be without, light, "Electricity", battery, Coca-cola,Radio,McDonalds(The biggest company in the fucking world), the razor, oh and lets not forget your car...and you apple product fiends...Americans invented that shit too, plus im sure Thers a shit ton of more useful shit We have done that nobody takes for granted. yes i know ALOT of americans are thick headed fatfucks but not all of us are like that so quit your bitching. please.........^^^HAM...oh and rap so hop off.

Explain to me how the USA is/was the most progressive country in the modern world? IMO China is the most progressive country in the world and the super power. What other country can say that roughly 85 precent of products sold in the USA are made in China. What other country can say that the USA owes more money to China than anyone else?

Op, I'm American myself, but the n. korea thing you said was a bad example. North Korea will never use their nukes against anyone, and I bet my life on that statement, because they would promptly get our dick shoved so far up their ass it would never become dislodged/get nuked by the modern world

Yea because north korea has 2 shits of a chance in a war with Canada. Get learned son. The myth that north korea is this huge unstoppable military force is just bullshit. They may have missiles but they are still using soviet era tools and weapons. I highly doubt one of there missiles could reach alaska. Also "america" as you put it includes the whole western hemisphere. I think you are talking about the US

The US has a very stable population. Statistics show that developed countries has stabilized populations, while undeveloped ones has ones that are out of control.


Also, "America" is two entire continents.

you do realize that they have set off nukes underground right? like confirmed by the US and many other countries...It wasnt a completely succesful detonation because not all the fuel was detonated in the reaction. But it is a fact that they do have nuclear weapons.


If they can actually get a missile over to the US is highly debatable. But they sure as hell can get it to Asian america(Japan) and the gaming capital of the world(s korea).

China has the ability to produce anything. However when it comes to designing, maintaining, or for that matter even keeping their production at a level of consistency...they can't do anything.

I know a few people who's companies do business in china. And each of them says you go there once to give them the design/what you want built. The first order, built under close supervision by the american parent company...is just about perfect. But then they leave, and tell them to just keep doing it like that. And so the second order isn't at all close to what the company wants.


Ever notice how nearly everyone complains about how terrible chinese-made products are? There's a reason for that.


They cannot do things on their own.


China is too dependent on other countries. If the countries you rely on for your exports fail, then you have no market.

... there are soooo many "americans are idiots" videos on youtube it's nuts. the public education system is one of the worst in developed countries. it is definitely not one person. rick mercer (famous canadian comedian) managed to do about 3 hours of show JUST on how dumb americans were. he got one of the state governors to say "congrats canada on preserving your national igloo."

and i'd bet money that over 90% of the canadian population knows the amreican capital. everyone in my high school certainly did.

33.9% of americains over 20 are obese. that's more than a few people. since you said judging based on a few people is not okay, i'll assume that judging by more than a quarter of the population is okay. americans are fat.

HOWEVER: americans on newschoolers are almost certainly not obese skiing is an inherently physical sport, meaning most people on here are a little pudgy at most. the above was purely a widespread opinion of you guys.

I have lived in 14 countries(and counting) and this is what most people would agree on. so i am from austria, i look from the outside in.

the US were the gold standard for germany/austria since WWII. everything thats trendy in the US ends up here with a year or two delay. we are in fact huge fanboys.

some people hate that because our "culture" is going down the shitter. i dont care about that at all, thats just progression.

i am a huge football fan, watch the NFL even if it means staying up the whole night and fucking half of my week up. i like a lot of what america stands for. but i also hate a lot of what america stands for.

i probably feel that way for most countries.

i just dont like it when uneducated fuckheads (no matter where they are coming from) spew out 50 bullshit facts (OP) of those i can destroy 30 without even googling once. i hate it when a 16 yr old kid is so full of himself and still so uneducated.

i hate it when americans bring up WWII, because we all know that the US would have probably done horseshit without pearl harbor (given that the war already was going on for 2 years at that point). and the nuclear bombing of hiroshima and nagasaki was genocide. end of question. how would you feel about it if the nazis dropped the bomb on an american city to end the war?

the US violated idk how many international laws with their interventions in vietnam, afghanistan and iraq. but nobody cares, because its the US. as christians as the americans are, it didnt prevent them from going on a unprecedented revenge-streak in the middle east that probably took a few hundreds of thousands civilian lives. fair compensation for the 3000 americans i guess.


the main problem is that overall, as a country, americans are too self-centered and superficial. i hear a lot of conversations of american exchange students and i will just leave it at that. its generalizing, yes, but that doesnt make it untrue. i would say that germans are too controlled and work too much into detail and complain too fast, which is not true for some of them, but overall it is. just because its generalized, its not necessarily untrue.




BOTTOM LINE: every country has problems and awesomeness. but that doesnt mean that you dont have to work on your problems. and thats what i think is the main issue that most people have with americans.
