i'll give you a short story i wrote for my english class that had to be <100 words.

Jonathan tossed and turned in his bed, wondering where his favourite pen could have gone. Could it be in his top drawer, where he could have sworn he left it? Could it be in his other pair of work pants? Jon dozed off thinking about where his pen could be. The next morning he still pondered what had become of his pen. Then he remembered that he loaned it to Sean from accounting. Jon saw Sean at the water cooler that day and asked him about his favourite pen. He said he lost it. Jonathan was hearbroken.
