Some friends and I were up at Crystal for opening day and it looked like it was going to be a good one. It all started when my friend lost his ski and brand new contour and had already spent an hour looking for them. Me and a couple others went down to help him look for it. To reach him we had to follow a cat track then duck one rope (into an open area) to reach him. My friend and I managed avoid him but my two other friends weren't so lucky. One lazy douche bag, embarrassment to ski patrol everywhere, fatass saw them. He shouted at them to stop then skied down to them, cause he wouldn't have been able to catch up, and proceeded to confiscate their passes. It was the second run of the day and he wouldnt take their excuse for trying to retrieve equiptment all while he watched my friends hunt for his the missing ski and call for backup to chase down people trying to help. He then showed us a pocket full of season passes that he had already confiscated and laughed about how upset the skiers must have been. I dont think this sort of behavior is acceptable for ski patrol especially at such a high-end respected resort. I am very dissapointed that my home mountain would allow such people to patrol their slopes. This needs to change, please share your thoughts.
