My current ski boots are some peice of crap boots that are too big. I went and got my foot fitted and the guy said that my foot was a full size too small. my parents said that they would pay for about 275 for new ski boots for christmas and I could make up the difference. I have a very wide foot so i was looking at the spk line of boots. I am thinking about getting the kreation because they are cheaper but they don't have the padded toe box or the lace up linear. would I be better off getting the spk 85. Also does anyone know any ski shops in the salt lake area that i could find an spk to try on.

Also if I go down a boot size will I have to remount my bindings or will they adjust a little bit to fit the smaller boot? Any help is appreciated.

im sure spks will be fine for u the boot fitter will handle all of that like the sizing and stuff so leave that up to him and u shouldnt have to remount your skis there is a little tab on the back of ur back binding that u just lift up and slide the binding forward, if u cant find it or dont feel comfortable doing it the ski shop will do it in seconds without charge i think

Are you looking at last years boots? I think they only make the spk 90 flex, and pro 110 flex. both have the lace up liner and sponge toe.
Most skis are mounted so they can be adjusted 1 size up or down. But get a shop to check them out.

Maybe you can adjust the forward pressure. Maybe. It's not always safe to do this. Theres always a possibility that you'll have to remount. Take your skis to the shop with you when you get fitted. You're buying boots, im

Fucking iPhone. I'm sure they won't mind giving up 10 minutes of work because you bought boots.

The spk 85 is a 2012 model and the spk kreation is a 2011 model. does anyone know if the lace up linear is worth the extra 70 bucks?

I got the SPK 90 this year. I picked them up from Sports Den, it's at Foothill and 1300S. I'm real happy with them. You may or may not have to remount your skis. On one pair I did on another I didnt.
