Just got a sponsorship request (no claim) and i was so stoked at first, but then they wrote in mails that i had to agree to alot and follow their rules etc.

"Results will be expected periodically so our team can see how you are making out this season. You can post a comment on our Myspace with your results, and you’ll be able to meet some of your fellow team.

Whether it’s our one of a kind sponsorship program with real support, ride days, and real chances to be used in advertising. We know word of mouth is the single best promotion a company can have."

expect alot, allthough i am and will continue to compete, i feel like i have some kind of pressure on me - if i accept.

what do you guys think?

I'd take it dude, I mean its not a oppurtunity that many people get and you have obviusly worked really ahrd to get to this point in your skiing career so you might as well go for and if it doesnt workout at least you have no regrets about turning it down

haha. anyone who makes a account and can ski down a hill will get a "sponsership" through hookit. fuck even when i used to downhill bike i was "sponserd" just got discount on shitty equipment. sorry to burst your bubble but its not a real sponsership just a shitty brand trying to get their name out and give discounts on shitty equipment.

As far as getting used in advertising. I got on a subway in the city by being high at waste mountain and apparently they liked my rasta hat and were like that kids high lets advertise with him.


But no money from it :(

In reality I am sponsored though. I got a hat and I get 30 percent off all of my monster purchases. I also get 10 percent off of my gear. I'm set for life
