I'm thinking about buying some but i'm debating between booters, hot doggers, and konflicts. What's the difference between them and which ones would be best for someone who skis like %70 park. I'm 6'1" 175 lbs if that matters and i wear 27.5. If you have a pair or any info about any of the pairs i'de appreciate it. Also let me know if you're selling any because i have Brand New Beats by Dre Studio to trade or Cash.
And Konflicts
Original Shell 3-Piece Design, 99mm width last
#8 Flex / 7 Rib tongue for maximum power with natural flex
Active Bootboard absorbs high speed vibration & impact
3 Cable closure eliminates deadspots for even pressure
Aluminum ratchet buckles for durable micro adjustments
Pro Liner highest performance that molds 100% to your feet
Booters
Influence Shell 3-Piece Design, 102mm width last
#4 Flex / 5 Rib tongue for forgiving & natural flex
Active Bootboard absorbs vibrations & impact
Wrap Strap lower closure & 2 upper cables for even pressure
Aluminum Buckles macro ladder & micro twist adjustment
Performer Liner lightest liner that molds 100% to your feet
They're both a completely different boot. Different size and everything. If one fits, the other won't.
I tried them on for like 5 min at a local ski shop and they fit like a glove.
Yea i know that's the technical difference but i wanna know what's the difference in feel from a personal perspective. Is one more of a race boot than the others? or are the booters really only good in park. . . etc?
You need to wear them longer, and walk around in them. With a ski sock on. Have them properly fitted.
It shouldn't matter the personal perspective. They are two different fitting boots.
The Konflict is narrower, and therefore fits a narrower foot. The Booter is wider, and is meant for a wider foot.
If you really want to know.
Konflict is stiffer, has a stiffer tongue than the Booter.
Along with the Konflict being the original 3 piece design, and the Booter being the Influence shell.
No boot is truly suited to only perform in one discipline of skiing.
I owned the booters last year and didnot like them.....i have the hot diggers now and there much better....the pro liner is definitely worth it....and I think the influnence design of the booters isnt good
thanks man! one kid has a pair of hot doggers he's trying to sell me but they have about 100 days of riding on them. Is that worth it or would the liner be so worn down? Their really cheap so i think it might just be worth it to buy the boots and buy a new liner.
Don't buy the Hot Doggers, if you tried on the booters and found them comfortable, the Hot Doggers shouldn't fit you. Seriously go and get fitted. You're going to be pissed when you buy the wrong fitting boots and you're feet are in incredible pain.
