i really think you have the wrong idea about how you can get a car to slide around. you can get a car to slide at huge angles controllably with no wheelspin. its all about using the cars weight and momentum to initiate the slide, then using steering/throttle inputs to control it and bring it back.
here, watch one this, its a driver named jean ragnotti, and he bosses the shit out of fwd cars. keep in mind, this is rally mostly on tarmac, not some drifting for style points shit, so its not huge ass angles as thats usually not fast especially on tarmac. but there are some definite "drifts" in there and butt loads of control. this guy can control a drifting FWD car only having stage notes, better than a lot of people can control their purpose built drift cars on a circuit they have driven hundreds of times.
