one thing i wish i did when i was learning was to do things all 4 directions, so start working on sw 1s and unnatty 1s/3s

5's and sw 3's should come pretty easily if you put your mind to it. Sw 1's and 3's are nice because you can spot the lander the whole time. And a 5 is just a 180 past a 3. just keep your rotation going and youll get them fine

i did misty. then 540, then rodeo.

sw 180 just comes by itself, really. on smaller jumps that is.

id sudgest like an easy flip to kinda break the ice between the fear of flipping and not being scared at all.

this season ill try to put grabs on my 7's etc, can only do it pencil, and thats horrible

i cam here to say double cork but.....ill be nice. Try learning some right side spins as well as progressing to 5's and grabbing while spinning!

+1 for learning all 4 3's. A buddy of mine who coached a fair number of good skiers talked me into it after the season last year. I spent my first day this season doing the other three (right side and both sides switch). It took about a day and a half to get them all down comfortably.

When I went back to throwing 5's and grabbed 3's last weekend I had MUCH more control. I think there is a lot to be said for learning to spin both ways and take off switch. I feel like you get a lot more comfort and control in the air, and I am sure it will be helpful down the road. Plus switch 3's are so easy its just silly and all the punters laying flat on their backs on the box next to the jump will think you've got cold gorilla nasty steeze.

fives are really easy to do an feel a lot better than threes cause the last rotation your not blind sided, and to do a five its just a little bit more huck. carving for fives is also much easier it comes around real easy. Try just straight airing jumps but doing grabs like mutes etc. to get a feel for it. And just start taking 1s an 3s to bigger jumps so when u try bigger spins there not as scary.

Try to get 3's on bigger jumps, where you land i the sweetspot, you'll feel it!!
when you have that down, try a 5!

definitely do all 4 360s. not having holes in your trick progression will pay off huge as you start to learn bigger and hard tricks.

also if you can comfortable do all 4 360s it will probably help learning all the 270s onto rails.

All 4 360s, i really regret i didnt do that back in the day, and now i awkwardly spin sw right and forward left.. And before moving up to 540s learn controll so you can do all the grabs you want for those 360s. Nothing looks more stupid than throwing the same mute on every damn spin you do.
