I have always called it a kicker too. but Hmmmmmm to each his own.

I always refer the lip to they very top part of the jump/kicker, well thats what i refer to when I build jumps for trails.

THIS. one of the guys i ski with does this all the time. Some kid was doing flat 3's and 5's one day and he goes "was that a backflip?" i facepalmed
