JJ Mount

Just got some barons in, and am going to get them mounted on my JJs.
I want to ride switch and spin on them a fair amount and stuff

Should I go at recommended (-5)
Or a little closer to center

i'd say 2 cm back from center. thats where most of the team rides them, and thats where i mounted mine

2.5 back from true center is the furthest forward i've been told the any of the team rides at (Thall). Good range is between -2.5 to -4 back from dead center. otherwise, it's all up to personally pref.

I just got mine mounted today at recommended, but I dont really ski switch very often so its really up too you I'd personally say like -4 ,or -3. Sweet setup by the way I have the same ;)

i'm at -4 and i like it fine. wouldn't go any further forward, but i would also think what -5 would be like. depends on how you're going to use the skis most. if you look at the videos there is a clip of me charging a wide open pow field. that was the fastest i'd ever gone in pow and i did it with a camera in my hand and the poles in the other. the skis inspire confidence.

I have mine at -3.0 and they feel great forward and backwards.

i have mine mounted at recommended with barons because if ur gonna skin, you dont want much tail behind you to drag

I did some research and talked to riley leboe and i mounted my ak jjs at -3. you won't lose charging and will still be able to ride switch and throw off anything and everything
