I'd greatly appreciate any help I can get with sizing my ski.
Since I started skiing in the park, my preference for park ski size has always been constant - my skis are tall enough so the tips curve around my head. That's just the way I like it I guess. So right now, I'm 170lbs, 5'10, and on 176.
I'm looking to buy a backcountry ski, and frankly I have no idea what size to get. I assume I'd go bigger, but I'm not sure how much bigger. I want a ski size that'll perform GREAT while hitting backcountry jumps into deeper snow, while also allowing me to have fun and go fast on steeps.
Basically, I'm asking how big should I go where the ski will still be able to perform well on jumps?
