Coreupt Banger vs. Line Chronic 2012's

Hey guys, so im about 6ft tall 145pounds and i was wondering which ski would be the best for 75% park riding and 25% groomers/powder, I'm also going to be ski instructing 3 times a week so I want something fun to play around on groomers. In the park ill mostly be hitting jumps about 50's at the biggest so I want a light ski with good swing weight. If I got the Coreupt banger should i go for the 174 or the 184? And with the chronic should i go 178 or 183's? Also to add I know the Coreupt Bangers have the cambre under foot with some early rise and the Chronic is just traditional cambre.


Please help me out guys!

i own the banger , and all i can say its a super fun ski to ski around all over the mountain ,kinda soft flex, handles very well in the park for butters and rails , even pretty stable on jumps , but they also got a great powder performance due to the rocker in the tip and tail ,
i definitely would recommend you the 184 as it skis pretty short because of the rocker , and its not as expensive as the chronics

Thanks alot, im still debating about the size though just because i know that the 174's will be a little bit stiffer but i will probably go with the 184's. Right now im skiing Line Anthems 09 and they started to feel really soft cause they have the butter zones. How are the bangers on decent sized jumps? Like 45- 50 ft? Do they wash out at all?

biggest I've jumped yet on the skis was about 50-60 feet an i haven't had any problems on washing out ! they feel still pretty stable on jumps , and i suggest you to get the 184 , because they run pretty short because of the rocker , i ski the 184s and I'm 179cm( i think its 5.8 ?? :-) ) tall !

yea when ever you buy any rocker ski get it as long as you can since your tall. They feel really short because when you put weight on the center the contact points move back so skiing a 186 will feel short but when you lay it down on edge you get the full length of the ski. hope this helped

Thanks alot guys! so ive decide that ill go with the 184 Coreupt bangers! My local shop has them in stock and im gonna throw some marker griffons on them so that its a super light setup. If you guys could give me some karma points that'd be great, im pretty new to NS
