I like Premiere, its pretty nice and when you start getting really into it, you can use AAE and do some cool stuff, im not at that level yet, but theres people on here that are.

I torented the entire 5.0 Master Collection like 6 months ago.
At first it's a little tricky, but once you make it your own by customizing the menus and what not, its really nice, plus its great having photoshop for my stills.

^ I would assume Premier Pro CS5.
I work with FCP7 and after a few years of working in final cut I'm pretty familiar with the software, so I would have to say that's my favorite. I haven't used anything else though.

It depends on what i'm doing.
For my workplace I usually end up using Final Cut Pro 7.
For personal projects and contract jobs I've been using Premiere Pro CS5.5. I'm working on transitioning over with how little is known about apples continuation of the actual Final Cut Pro. Not X.
It also allows for a raw workflow that I'll soon be using.

For me sony vegas is easy and does everything i would ever need it to do. Supports a lot of plugins that i need and is good for editing audio. I've planned on trying out premiere and after effects to make a decision between the two, but it seems like a hassle to re learn a whole new software and all the quick keys. On the other hand i love lightroom and photoshop. Vegas was also easy to torrent and the way to torrent premiere i've heard from friends it is difficult. If you know how please tell me! With a link to download would be good too.
