It's pretty obvious that it isn't. Dumb myth. At least they still had other goo myths to test back then. The show pretty much completely shit the bed within the first few season.

Like I mentioned before, genetically you don't need a black person to have a black baby because if you are the carrier of the gene it can be passed along through many generations
