Replying to Binding adjustment question

Hey all. So I went and got fitted for some new boots and while I was there I learned that the boots I had been wearing were two sizes too big for my feet. Which would explain all the extra room I had before. I was told it was probably because the shop wanted to make a quick sale and didn't know what they were doing. This was three years ago and at the time I was fifteen and didn't know anything about how a boot should fit. I just purchased a correct fitting pair of boots today and am now wondering if my bindings are even going to be able to adjust correctly to them. I was in a size 28.5 and am now in 26.5s. Am I screwed or do you think it will work out? Thanks a lot +k for help and info. Spark notes. Had boots two sizes too big for me. Now have correct fitting boots. Will my bindings be able to adjust to the drastic change without being re mounted?
