Binding adjustment question

Hey all. So I went and got fitted for some new boots and while I was there I learned that the boots I had been wearing were two sizes too big for my feet. Which would explain all the extra room I had before. I was told it was probably because the shop wanted to make a quick sale and didn't know what they were doing. This was three years ago and at the time I was fifteen and didn't know anything about how a boot should fit.
I just purchased a correct fitting pair of boots today and am now wondering if my bindings are even going to be able to adjust correctly to them. I was in a size 28.5 and am now in 26.5s. Am I screwed or do you think it will work out? Thanks a lot +k for help and info.
Spark notes. Had boots two sizes too big for me. Now have correct fitting boots. Will my bindings be able to adjust to the drastic change without being re mounted?

Depends on the bsl of the two boots and what bindings it is..

I can't say for sure, but i think the PX12 has about 15mm of forward pressure adjustment, but if the bsl is more than 15mm smaller on the spks. I'm guessing you need a remount..
I think there is a bsl archive thread somewhere, either here or on TGR. You should probably do a quick google search

You will almost certainly need a remount. Take them to the shop you got the boots and they should do it free for you as you got the boots from them. There should be no issue with the holes interfering with the new ones either so it should be really easy.

Most bindings have a fore/aft adjustment of ~10mm. If your bindings were mounted for a 28.5, that means they should probably fit a 27, but not a 26.
Depending on where your bindings were mounted, you might only want to remount the heels.
