if you cant figure it out. she picked a card. then took the deck down below and dropped it. he reached out and snagged one card. guess which card it was.

he somehow planted that card under the menu before he set it down and stabbed it. if you look when they're spreading the cards, there is no card in the area where he stabs that is just sitting on top of all the others, but when he stabs and pulls the menu out, that card that he stabs was obviously placed on top of of the rest. see how it's just sort of sitting there on its own?

and then the reason he asks so many people to look at the card is to give his dude behind the camera enough time to look for that card in another deck and slip it over to him.

that one is so obvious.

he's asking the guy to show the card to everyone. he has someone there who's in on the trick with him. the same person who gives him the steak knife as soon as he asks for it. that guy sees what card the dude picked, right away while everyone's intently watching the trick he picks the same card out of another deck and places it in the menu at the specific spot. then he asks for the menu and boom, the card is in it and he knows exactly where to stab it. that's why he stabbed twice, the first time he thought he missed or because he saw there was another card where he stabbed.
