He doesn't seem to want the full tilts. Honestly I'm not a fan either. But it seems like he wants info to compare the two he listed. But yes, fit is the most important aspect. Structurally though, the SPK has more comfort features (gel toe, heel, tongue and calf), whereas the Ace seems to have a few more functional features (progressive flex, that snazzy pant clip on the back, etc.)

Both are awesome boots, you can't lose.

ace of spade spk is good if u have a hugely wide foot though

i have the spk pros and i like them. i'll be giving them their first run sunday at Keystone. but walking around the house in them, they're comfortable for sure and im excited to see how they perform. I was looking into the ace of spades and was set on them but i got a good deal on the spks and i couldnt pass it up.

ace of spades look awesome too and they seem to have a lot of great features, but the spk pros have their own features that make them a top notch boot.

just know salomon makes the worst boot in the industry.

The main differnece you will find is the height in the instpe. The salomon is quite low and the nordica quite high, so definatly both will not fit. The SPK last is wider but I think they feel much more like a 100mm last this year. I tried my new pros yesterday and they are much tighter then my old pros. The Goo Toe is the best feature of any park boot on the market though, you will never want a conventional boot after it.

Which ever boot you get make sure you get good custome footbeds and get the liners and shell fitted. Its not just a case of trying the boots on. Also remeber if its supper comfy in the shop chances are it does not fit.

Salomon are regarded as some of the best boots on the market and have been for years, so no worries on salomon. Nordica are a great brand too and although there boot line slipped a bit a few years ago there coming back strong.

Salomon liners suck imo

i got spick pro's, i really like them a lot more then the ace of spades, the last s 104 so it fits my foot and is comfortable
