Replying to SUBARU HELP

I have a 98 Subaru legacy gt 2.5l I was just told I possibly have a head gasket blown. This is the second time I have had gasket problems with this engine. It has about 185,000 miles on the engine.


My question for you gear heads is how much am I looking at for repair/is it worth it and if I opted to do and engine replacement, how much AFTER purchasing the engine am I looking at and if that would be worth it.


I really need some help with this. This car has been a black hole as far as repairs.


Buying a new car isn't an option.
