Tattoo Ideas?!?!

Im in the search for a tattoo on my left shoulder, like a half sleeve, shoulder to a little above the elbow. Now i'm asking NS for ideas on what I should ink my arm with. Remember I probably wont take your idea of A giant dick on my arm. So any idea even if its crazy!

serious response a simple 1 color tattoo, in calligraphy saying "pray for snow"
perhaps with a little snowflake or mountain contours in the background ...

Steal "The Rocks" half sleeve, or check out Roger Huerta's...id get either one if i had the bankroll and a good tattoo artist in my area.

get a really long mushroom with a small cap on it. Make sure its sideways and at the base by the roots make sure to add a small half circle with roots coming out.

I have personal meaning I wanna get one of the snow or skiing because me and my grandpa used to always ski, now he's about to pass away so I wanna get one that makes me think of the fun we had. but.... It looks like dick is winning the decision pool. seeing as this is a online community of skiing, I thought hey maybe they will have some cool ideas.

My grandpa was really into owls, so I was thinking that I would get a multi colored owl, that in the background had a nice mountain range... but I wanna put some skiing into it. I know what I want im asking for some ideas.

Do research on the artists around you, find out whose style you like the best. If you have an idea, makes some sketches. Set an appointment and meet up with them to go over your sketches. They can take your ideas and put them together into a composition for you. Get to be friends with your artist, if its a bigger piece it won't be a one session deal.

The best way to get a tattoo is to go into it without thinking about it. If you think about it to much, you might regret it. Walk into a tattoo shop (one that you know is good) and put down a deposit for a time you want to get your tattoo. This is what I did. Then you have to go back and get it. I got shit on my ass. I have no regrets about it. I've gotten a beej because of it (I have yet to fuck a girl because of just the tattoo, but someday I prolly will)
