Slider Concoction

Finally got this put together correctly, stopped by an engineering firm and they sold me a linear slider for $100, tacoma screw in Seattle made me a tripod mount and camera mount for $12.  Cheap sliders are possible.

I like how its overly bookeh'd and probably even edge softened in post production, realy makes nothing stand out or visible, but it looks so artsy.

who needs to see the subject of the picture and thread, just blur that shit up and make it art!

It just looks like a cheap photoshop tilt shift effect to me.

But the slider on the other hand, Very well done!

question. did you have any problems with the weight? im building my own slider right now that are going to be attached to my 055 sticks. i need a good way to attach it to the legs, right now when i slide the camera, one side will be to heave and will tilt downward. have any solutions?

No i was saying why the fuck blur a picture when we want to see details and understand what he made. Instead its just a blurry ass mess. He could have just pierced a tripod hole into a piece of painted wood and it would look the same. Show the god damm set up, not some stupid blur.

I screw mounted a manfrotto quick slide plate horizontally to the slider so more surface area of the plate was being used to stabilize it (instead of mounting it perpendicularly).  After doing that there is no bend at all becasue of the slider I was able to get.  That being said when I put my 70-200 on it it is a little bit too much to handle for my 702 head.
