GoPro Pole Mount

Has anybody tried doing this? If so, how does it work?

look a bit sketchy, but it should work pretty well. the only concern i have is that when i used to put the vented helmet mount on my mtb helmet it would come loose occasionaly.

Old golf club + helmet mount + zip ties = that thing. Works good for me

My simple solution:

Flat adhesive mount on shortened hockey stick shaft. Wonderful.

That type of pole is not as receptive to being zip tied

Take a old pole or a tube between 0.75" to 1.4" (1.9cm - 3.5cm) diameter.
You can mount your camera with the Handlebar Seatpost Mount, wich you can buy here http://gopro.com/camera-mounts/handlebar-seatpost-mount/

Sorry for the bump, but does anyone know if the bike grip mount would be able to face away from the pole so you can film other people instead of yourself?

i just took the 3 way swivel mount and put a bolt through a ski pole and connected it, works great.
