Why can i not upload an icon??

I've been trying for like an hour and it shows the url but then it doesn't show the pic after

I had the same problem. So i went to google images and search what i wanted for an icon and then on the far left you can click icon and it will show small images now go to exact size (it will be under icon on the left) and do 50 by 50 and a bunch will show up and you pick one drag it to your desktop and upload it. Hope it helped bro I was pissed for the longest time and then i realized it needed to be exactly 50x50
