This thread is stupid... so - slight thread jacking. what's the most memorable first chair you've had.




Every year since I was quite young, I made a tradition of going skiing on Christmas morning. Even when I was a kid, I would go skiing while my family would wake up to open presents. Well, fast forward to a few years ago - it was a late start to the season and one of the chairs at my local hill (Red Mountain, BC - Red Chair) didn't start spinning until Christmas. Later on in the day my dad was flying into town for a visit. I woke up early, headed to the hill and managed to bag first chair of the season on that chair - a little Christmas present to myself, had your typical few hours of skiing before everyone else showed up after doing their family thing, then took off to pick my dad up from the airport.

Good times.
