Replying to Words you hate

went into cvs today to buy some soup and arnie palms and the cashier called me boss, quite possibly my most hated word in the english language. then i went to the bank and the teller called me pal.  then while walking home, not 2 minutes later, a bum asked me for change and called me boss. i snapped, and angrily told him to get a job.

moisture
coagulate
bead
liquid

what are the words out there that just piss you off?
