went into cvs today to buy some soup and arnie palms and the cashier called me boss, quite possibly my most hated word in the english language. then i went to the bank and the teller called me pal.  then while walking home, not 2 minutes later, a bum asked me for change and called me boss. i snapped, and angrily told him to get a job.

other words that i cant stand:

liquid

When people use dro to refer to how potent there weed is, i always have the urge to turn around and give them a lecture about how dro actually refers to hydroponics which is a way of growing such weed, it pisses me off also, pothead or even just pot, pot just isn't a pretty word to my ears, like dude lets go get some pot, it just doesn't sound good, and pothead to refer to a person that smokes is just fucking annoying, like just disregard that they smoke when talking about them

I totally agree with you on the Boss and Pal thing. The other one that pisses me off to no end is Chief. A waiter referred to me as both boss and chief during a meal recently. $2 tip on $60 meal. When I am dining, and you are my waiter, you refer to me as Sir. I am not your Boss, I am not your Chief, and I most certainly am not your Pal.

Also hate the overuse of the word swag (or worse, schwag).

Toats being short for totally annoys me as well. There are probably dozens of other words that would annoy me in the wrong context, but these are the ones that are standing out currently.
