how does a binding that is made for the park affect your skiing abilities??? I am just looking for bindings on my '05 ar5s.

I have p14 race on lbf and tm and no difference. Maybe titanium heelpiece, maybe not.

Actually, race bindings are usually HEAVIER because they have a full metal housing and a higher DIN range. This makes them more durable. Lifters don't mean shit since you can take them off if you want. Typically you can't buy race bindings in retail stores.

alot of the pros use the race bindings, i know most of the guys for rossi use the old race heel instead of the axial heel

i use zrace bindings too and they're definetely heavier than p12's or 14's but way more durable

what do you mean by lifters don't do jack ???? it does alot, why do you think they raise the plate on the race skis ?????? the higher you are, the easier it is for you to go from one edge to another. it's not cauz you can take it off that's it's useless !!! it just means the binding comes in more then 1 piece. you will never see a racer ski on a non-lifted binding or ski.

i think he simply meant that just cause a binding has a lifter, that doesnt mean that you cant use it without it

I use race bindings, but I am a racer. Any other bindings are pieces of shit.
