I personally love MW3, I love the maps, I love the new "strike packages", I love the guns. So far I don't have much to complain about and have been enjoying the hell out of the game.

It's meh, I borrowed it from a friend before putting down $60. Campaign is really cool, online is the same to me. So I'll keep my money and put it toward something else.

Hmmm sort of like the actual concept of using a sniper rifle. You don't see people in the military running around with bolt action rifles as if it was an M16. The point of a sniper is to provide cover from far back and take out high priority targets, not run around like a banshee and barely zoom in pull the trigger and get a kill regardless of where the gun is aimed.

The whole quick scope, aim assistance is a major flaw in the sniping aspect of the game.

There aren't any exceedingly sniper-friendly maps in Mw3. I like what there is, but I also want those Wasteland and Estate-type maps for some MSR exclusive action

Bakara is the only map that is sort of sniper friendly, and even at that the map is way to jam packed with buildings.

Yea I snipe Bakaara and Interchange. Interchange is prob the best one to snipe actually, plenty of cross-map shot spots

Yeah that is true. I guess its all about finding the right spots and positions to make the shots at people. Right now I am really frustrated with the sniping so I just use my G36C with red dot + silencer = $.

I still can't find something better than the dialed mechanics of cod4 PC. Any PC players have anything to say, because you guys have the only respectable opinion on FPS games.

So my 360 was recently deemed beyond repair, but I played for a night and heres what I think. Quickscoping is way too easy in this game. It better get patched or ill end up breaking several controllers. The spawns are jacked again, ive spawned in front of enemies countless times on that evening. Everything else is a nice tweak of MW2.

Maps are fucking gay. Especially downturn. worst map of the whole call of duty franchise. Like if this map had a baby it would be more retarded than sloth from the goonies. If this map was an athlete it would suck more than a rex grossman/and this guy

You're incredibly uninformed. You must not be familiar with the PC shooter community. It is by far the most elite group of players in the most concentrated genre. CoD on PC can only be described as business.

I was a BField vet before I ever played CoD, so don't say I'm biased. Two very diff games

I'm liking it a lot so far. I actually like a lot of the maps, but I can see how people would dislike them. There's tons of places to flank, so if you're the kind of person that likes to sprint balls out up the middle, then yeah, you're gonna get killed a lot. Wish they didn't bring back quick scoping though. Now half of my team usually just runs around like idiots thinking their bolt action sniper is a shotgun.

?? Realy? I only snip in MW3, as well as MW2. Black ops maps were horrible for sniping and the snipers weren't good. I personally snip almost every round in MW3

Initially the game wasn't the greatest thing ever, but the deeper and more i play the more i enjoy it, get it if you loved MW2, but if you liked Black Ops and hated MW2 i wouldn't advise it.

this. maps are amazingly detailed and complex...confusing as shit the first few times through

very fun game, but a little killstreak happy with the new assault/support package setup

Does anyone have a problem with their connection? 80% of the time it seems like the person only puts two bullets in me and im dead even though on my screen i've emptied half a clip into them..but when i watch the replay it says they dont register? i've got a pretty good connection at home...is it because there are so many kids on?

nah bro, you just gotta aim. but seriously, do you play on a wireless connection? If so, you'll need to change some settings on your internet and what not to get a good connection. I'm not really a computer guy but you could google it. If not, it could be something else to do with your connection, or it could possibly be something to do with the game. I haven't heard anything about server issues, but i havent been looking for that kind of information so i have no idea.
