the evo is a shitmobile and any racing or modifications void their shity warranty. the mustang (35 year old car) has 375 horse power and 450 lbs of torque 0-60 5.7 quater mile 13.9. if you went under the hood, you could increase hp. and torque by 50% and all the weight savings could result in a car just as fast and 10 times cooler.

exactly. everything about those cars is made for racing. and a good percent of it is hand made. full cabon frames and bodys, that shit is insanly complex to manufacture. you simply cannot compare a hyundai to a ferrrari. it may be fast, but it will never be a ferrari. and while thew lancer and WRX have rediculous 0-60 times, its all gearing. they may blast to 60, but they max out pretty damn low. you could trow a close ratio transmission in my car (1981 chevy citation, about 90 hp) and it would be resonably quick.

its gonna take more than exhaust and intake to get 550 hp out of an Sti. as sick as they are your gonna have to drop a ton of money to get up to 550 hp.

Hell, it could put mkost cars with v8s and v10s to shame, even if it has a 2.5 liter supercharged v4- sorry dude but NO, stock the sti and evo are fairly even, the sti is faster but the evo is much cheaper and the 4G63 responds far better to mods and has far more aftermarket support.. and to get the sti up to 550 would cost a few pennies at least.

he evo is apparently a lot more fun to drive, and more practical than the subaru. But i dont think boxer engines can really deliver, even with new exhaust, etc.
