My dog just bit my 9 week old kittens ear and I had to watch it lay there twitching and choking on it's own blood. It's laying on my parents bed now wrapped in a towel. Not making a sound except for a random gurgle like hiccup. We're from a small town so I dont have an emergency vet to take it to. The earliest we can go is 9 tomorrow morning. I hope it makes it the night. I really love this kitten. It was the runt of three.

Anyone else been traumatized by an animal accident. I just wish I knew where it hurt.
I wish I could take the pain away.

my friend accidently shot a baby bunny rabbit with a paintball gun... he thought it was the other dude moving, anyway it hit him in the ear, he bled, the bunny flipped the bunny over, it hit him in the ear and he just lay their twitching and shit, with the widest open eyes, anyway we wrapped him up and cleaned him up and in 5 minutes he hopped off again...

one of my cats had a bladder infection that traveled to his liver. We took him to the vet, and they said he would be fine. A few days later, I got back home from skiing to find out that he had died.

Another one, not too long before that, had stomach cancer and was gradually getting thinner and weaker. He'd sleep alot because he was so weak. Eventually, we took him to the vet to put him to sleep and I had to watch him die.

i had to forcfeed a lab for two weeks untill she died of cancer. she was only 5 . i cried everytime i fed her.

my friends cat had a heart attack and they came home and found it crawling around with its front legs. it's back legs went out, and they had to put it down.

welll one of my cats got ran over by a car and hte mailman came and gave it to us....whioch was funny that hed to that but not funny my cat died and then our other cat was unbder the car and my mom started it and she got caught in the fan and now like if theyre any swift movements around her she'll panick and run away

I think the ear canal is connected through the nose and mouth in the back of the head once blood goes down the ear the brain swells and starts pushing blood in throat.

our cat had like sum fatty liver disease and it wouldnt eat, we took it to the vet, they stuck a tube directle in his stomach, so it was just dangling out the side of him, and we had to sqirt a syringe of foos through it to give him food. one day my mom and sis were feeding him and the food started comeing out the tube and it was moving all over. haha. then one day i woke up and it wasnt in the cat anymore, he took it out sumhow. and he started eating normal again. yay. he's stll alive now

i also had to put my 5 year old lab down, worst day of my life. He was irreplaceable. here is a picture apparently he had a tumor on the inside of his lung that caused him not to breathe, and the operation was way too dangerous and even if it did work, he would have a year at the most and it would be a year of suffering. we could never replace him, but we got another dog. here he is

Twix, another one of my cats had fatty liver too. We got a newdog, and the cat was so scared that she wouldn't go downstairs where her food was. Eventually, we let her outside and she ran away to go hide and die. We put up posters to look for her, and a neighbor found her rolling around in the street. They took her to the emergency vet, and started giving her medication and stuff. They saw the lost cat flyers and called us. When we got to the vet, it had already been about 2 days later, and they had a bill for about $2000 waiting, and they wanted to do an ultrasound for about $2000 more. We said no, so they suggested that we leave her there for a few more days hooked up to fluids and some medication. We let her stay for one more day then we told them that we were taking her home. They told us that we could schedule an appointment to put her down, but we told them it wouldn't be neccesary. After squirting fluids, blended food, and shoving pills down my cat's mouth for a few weeks, she was as good as new.

whoa shortskichick, 2000$ that's is a lot of moolah. our cat stayed for like a week and it cost $600 and my dadwas pissed. ill have to tell him that we got a good deal.

I operate on animals, I work in an animal research lab, ( for good stuff like instruments to get rid of blood clots and stuff like that). If you want his pain to stop, give him sone Aceprolene, then some Isoflourene and he'd be out until morning.

I couldn't stand it anymore so I went to bed.
At midnight my mum came upstairs crying and said that Yoda had just died in her hands. This morning I came down to see Yoda's 2 brothers and her mum licking her and not understanding why she wouldn't wake up. Then I dug a whole in our yard and buried her with her favourite toy in a sarong. I never want to have a pet when I'm older, I can't stand the thought of another one dying...

Fuck dude, I just put my dog down today, she died in my arms. I know how you feel, I learned how to walk holding on to her collar She was my best friend and today was the worst day of my life, but it helped alot to bury her. Just remember the good times bro.

i feel for you^.
once, i was probably about 6, we lived in this town out in the middle of nowhere and our cat just had a litter of kittens, the dad was a stray cat. the kittens were probably a week old and one night we left the garage door open. the next morning i walked into my garage and there was the whole litter of kittens laying on the floor, with no necks. the stray dad cat had gotten in and killed all of them. the mom cat was all trying to lick them and wake them up. one of the saddest things ive ever seen

i used to have anatolian sheperds and one got hit by a car going 60 and all it did was hurt itsankle...these dogs are MASSIVE....but my golden retriever died 4 years ago of epolepsy (seizures).....but i have 2 dogs right now...i think in my whole life ive had 8 dogs. and then like 5 cats but i dont like cats anymore cause they scratch me

yeah my cat had lympho sarcoma which is a cancer of the lymph system, and for those of you who dont know your lymph system travels throughout your whole body to dispose of waste so its basically like having blood cancer, and the vet said my cat was going to die in like 3 months and she didnt really have a chance, we thought about putting her down but we didnt and i fed her salmon and stuff when she was really sick, she looked really bad one day but then she started getting better and now she is fine, its a crazy thing she survived

yeah so my dog was the runt of the litter and had all kinds of probs like hip displacure and his front paws were really screwed up, and to fix it all would cost $4000 +, so as he started getting older he started getting meaner (but still nice to me) and so my parents tried finding him a home and didn't so their plan was to put him down because he's only a year and a half and in pain and growling at people, so i was all for the needle way but they went shotgun style and i just got home from babysitting and my dads like 'so i had to put moses down today'... yeah... so im a tad (understatement) pissed, i didnt get to say good bye... and thats what happend today... fuck eh
