Am I Seeing Things??

Someone tell me im wrong, but when you look at the 2012 atmoic punx, where it has the team center mount, it seems like there is more tip than tail to it. Is that true or what? i wanted them dead center and i had them mounted yesterday and pickthem up like tomrrow. Did i just screw myself over?

if you mounted them according to the label above the atomic logos on the sidewall they will be fully symmetrical

Flip one upside down and see if the lines match up. Simple

Call the shop. Hopefully the techs were smart enough to measure the mounting points before. I had a pair of Thugs once, and the graphics were completely off. Techs measured anyways

NEVER mount ur skis to what is said on the top sheet, every top sheet is not the same, most are off. you can tell by the graphics on the skis. ALWAYS measure

thats pretty good advice. i wonder if shops just go by the line, or actually measure

ooh shit, i think spencer milbocker just replied... this is amazing. we got the same names. But i hope they measured and i dont think there that amateur, but there probably mounted by now so i hope they did it right. But what does someone mea flip it over? like flip it over to the base and line up the graphis to center? or see the side wall, and see if that lines up to the center?

Flip one ski so they are paired up tip to tail and tip to tail. (make one ski do a 180) if the lines match up they are correct. Simple symmetry Watson

This too. Somes shops seem to have a tendency of making they're own mounting points up.

ooh ok, thanks everyone. But what if it is like un even or mounted wrong? you think i could get all pissed at thme and get something free or a gift card? or would they jsut recharge me to redrill?

They are a symmetric ski. They most likely know this and if it's a semi dece shop they will mount at recommended. And aI few centimeters doesn't make a huge difference
