So my old jacket was heavily insulated and my pants were decently insulated so I was able to wear shorts and tee shirt under that everyday which was nice, but I just got a new jacket and pants with lighter insulation and I really don't want to wear "long underwear." So, what are kids wearing these days underneath the ski gear? I am also afraid I'll have to go buy something for under my jacket too.
i generally just wear a shell pant and jacket, unless its cold enough for a puffy. i dont like wearing long underwear either, so under my pants i generally just wear basketball shorts and under my jacket just a light sweat wicking layer with a Patagonia R1.
Are you really incapable of figuring this kind of thing out for your self? Want to know what to wear? What ever you want that you like and will keep you warm/dry.
Smart kids these days wear your so call "long underwear". I'm wearing some right now as we speak. You're probably going to want to have a set for under your pants, as well as a set for under your coat. Cotton provides no insulation and actually draws away heat from your body.
You can also get a wicking fabric for the warmer days so you don't have cold sweat on you.
I wear long underwear and an undershirt. Both are made from a material that lets moisture pass through, so you don't get all sweaty. This is called a baselayer.
i wear long underwear but since u said u dont want to wear it get some sort of fleece or down jacket to wear under your jacket and for your pants if you really refuse to wear long underwear the best bet is warm as fuck sweatpants i guess but really just go with long underwear
