If we are talking about the current (last years or this years silencer) than the silencer is by far a better ski! It will have a sidewall vs the presses cap construction. The silencer is also stiffer while still being very light , while the press is a very flex beginner oriented ski. All in all i would go silencer. If you were talking about an older silencer so more then a year old they are basically the same ski, so in other words the press took the old silencers place while the silencer got upgraded!

both are disposable skis for only one season... try to spend the extra buck and get a better ski like revival
