maan, total bummer. once again there will be no Street Comp for skiers in the X games. I have no idea why they deny us like this. I would pay to see LJ show up all the snowboarders on the street course.
For those of you who dont know. they introduced 2 new events in the xgames last year for snowboarders. Real Snow and Snowboard street. The former is a video based comp, where contestants film a short seg of themselves shredding anywhere they please, and then the segs are judged online by fans. The segments put out by the boarders were all outstanding. especially Nic Suave.
snowboard street is basically a rail jam, but with some really gnarly features. its a pretty standard format but it was super cool to see pros of the highest level all compete against another.
what do u guys think NS? are u as disappointed as me that you wont get to see lots of awesome mini-segs and vote on them? dont you think it would be satisfying to see LJ and Tom 450 onto an urban rail while the snowboarders struggle to 270?
