false. in the majority of those songs, the first four or five bars has the word "weed" or "bitches" in it. in the rest, almost the entire video is him sitting around with girls. mac miller is a fucking clown.

and yeah rappers are just HOOD NIGGAZ or then sing about how horribly they gone through drugss or how amazing his woman is.

Well i have to accept the fact, that you will not see people rap about bananas, skiing, bowling, skydiving, peeing etc. its just not thug enough.

White kids listening to hip hop complaining about white kids rapping about things that aren't "hip hop". I think thats what we call irony. 90% of Newschoolers can probably identify better with most of Mac's music than any Wu-Tang, Pac, or Biggie song ever, but that would mean them admitting that they aren't as engrained in the "hip hop culture" as they think they are.

Amusing to me.

And no I'm not saying that you have to identify with the music to enjoy it, obviously thats not true. Just an interesting observation.

economic situation in life has absolutely nothing to do with what you have. there is NO correlation between happiness and wealth. I think when he says rap is all he has, its the only thing in his life making him happy. I don't even listen to mac miller but i'd guess that what he's getting at.

never once have i said that i could relate to wu tang or biggie, nor that i couldn't to mac miller, because i'd be lying to you if i said either of those things. and no i'm not engrained in hip hop culture, but i am fairly involved in my local hip hop scene and listen to a lot of it. i don't try to relate to hip hop, because most of it i can't relate to. hip hop has nothing to do with black or white, i just think mac miller is a shitty rapper with no heart in almost any of his music.

well at least the artists you mentioned above produced real music with emotion behind it. mac is just shitting on rap in general by producing that shit he does. not everyone who listens to nirvana wants to kill themselves, ya dig? (maybe not the best example) same goes with rap, i'm far from thug...

also check this out......

i got all the lyrics from the songs i posted and did a little word search:





bitches/bitch/girls came up 23 times through out all the 10 songs.

weed/marijuana/pot/bud/joint came up 7 times out of all the ten songs.

clothes/hoodie/hat/snapback came up 4 times.

there are 4806 words in all those songs.

according to my TI-89 that only makes it 0.707%.

that is 8486.5% less than what you stated.

you are wrong, i am right. you have entered a batte you cant win.

I like how devoted you are to proving this wrong. and you brought up a REALLY good point with those percentages. but if you go and listen to blue scholars, common market, immortal technique, or any other artist who is self produced you will realize how much better they are as lyrisists.
you may not like them for the style of hip hop they partake in, but if you take any mac miller/wiz song's lyrics and match them up with a blue scholars song's lyrics you will see a major difference.
Dont reply to this with a major hate, cause like you I was a fan of both mac and wiz (Im using them in particular cause they pop out as the most related to weed-rapping). Wiz was dope before K&OJ. but frankly, now all his stuff is the same over a dif beat. Mac was dope too but even his stuff is starting to blend together into similar sounding songs.

Seriously, the music elitism in here is hilarious. Why do you CARE so much what other people listen to? And why is the idea of listening to "good", hip hop mutually exclusive to listening to "bad" hip hop. Why can't someone enjoy both?
