anyone from NS going to be there? i already bought up a three day pass. the initial pre-sale tickets already sold out, but more will be going on sale January 3rd.

if you have any interest in electronic music whatsoever it will be one of the greatest concert experiences of your life, guaranteed. i'll bump this thread as the dates get closer.

I have to go to this and Tomorrowland... I have been trying to get a big group of friends to go. I have about 6 that are pretty firm yes's

^i promise you won't regret it.

my advice is to book your hotel and flight (if you can afford it) sooner rather than later, currently you can get some pretty good deals.

Yeah i heard the vegas one was the shit last year. i went to the miami one last year and the denver one the previous year but i guess none of them can touch vegas at all. So hyped to go.

i was at edc 11 with some buddies and it was a blast but i came back way burned out electronic music and whole scene. like i dont even listen to it anymore and i havent been to a show since. but that shouldn't deter people from going. 8pm to 8am threes days straight with a ton of like minded people and most of the big names in electronic music is pretty epic.

Always wondered why your icon was his FB picture....

I had some friends go down last year and their car got stolen within 30 min of being in Vegas. Lost everything, and didnt get the car back for a month. Poor guys.

Looks like a good time, but I'll be hitting up Desert Rocks that same weekend.

the key is booking shit early.

i checked your profile and it says you're from Quebec, i bet you could get a roundtrip plane ticket for around $500 if you shopped around and got it fairly soon. if you plan on driving and got a full car together i bet you could make it happen for around $200 a piece in gas.

4 nights of hotels on the strip is fucking expensive, but once you get off the strip prices dip immensely.

food, drugs, ect aren't really that bad; you hardly eat while you're there and drugs are cheap/easy to find.

if you drove i bet you could make it all happen for around $700 USD, including your ticket. +any alcohol and gambling you choose to do. which IMO is WELL worth it for a Vegas trip and an amazing 3 days of music.

last year tickets were WAY cheaper, i got a three days pass for $180.

plus i had a free place to stay, so that cut out a good amount of cost.

driving down from WA was kinda spendy, around $120 a piece.

plus food and other random expenses, it ran somewhere close to $500+/- in total, with ticket.

The music/scene isn't for everyone, I totally understand. I'm definitely planning on going 2013 or 2014, still 1-2 years away but I'm already so pumped from watching these vids.

idk what's gay about partying with 230,000 people, many of which are 85% naked girls on party drugs, all while listening to the best DJ's on earth with some of the best stage set ups ever constructed

seriously last year was the best 3 days of my life, I had more fun those 3 days then I did the entire season of skiing
