Decision help: Get iPhone 4S now OR wait and get iPhone 5?

Who has the iPhone 4s? and who knows anything about the iPhone 5?

I need a new phone pretty soon and I can get the 4S now for 200$ or wait for the 5 and have no idea when its coming or anything about it.

I keep hearing rumors that the 5 will come out in early 2012 but I think that might be too soon after the 4S. I feel like apple wont do it that soon. And honestly I really am only willing to wait till about February or March at the latest for the 5.

Honestly it will take some time to get the iPhone 5 like at least 11 months. I think your question should be sould I get an Iphone 4 for cheap and save money or is it worth the Siri and extra cash for iPhone 4s.

The 5 proabably wont come out til next summer, id say get the 4s, i have it and i like it more than my moms 4. But if you don't really care that much you'd be fine getting the 4 probably its just a little slower and doesnt have Siri or the 8mp camera or as much memory.

Problem is i have sprint and they only offer the iPhone 4 with 8GB. Id like to get the 16GB with the 4s. I dont mind the extra 100 to get it. I have been working alot lately and have some extra cash.

Ahh I see, yeah gotta love Apples marketing techniques. I would just get the iPhone 4s then. Do not pay attention to the rumors it will be summer at the earliest for the iPhone 5.

this. I've got the 4 and it is amazing! The 4s has sirus which is pretty sick but had an update for the IOS software so the only thing the 4 doesn't have is sirus. I personally think the iPhone 5 is going to be unreal, If you have the patients wait, prob not coming out for awhile though

I agree, I think I'm going to get a 4s soon, because my phone right now isn't functioning properly. But I think it would be very unwise of them to release a brand new iphone 5 so close to the launch of their 4s, it wouldn't get many sales because everybody just bought the 4s, and it would just piss off a lot of customers. I'd say next summer at the earliest as well.

Well, after having a 3GS for 3 years (great phone, no problems) I now have had the iPhone 5 for a few weeks. I really like it a lot. It's super lightweight and way faster than my 3GS. The screen size is way better, would not want it any bigger though. It's nice because its longer but not any wider so its easily handled with one hand. Stoked to jailbreak it soon
