so i was watching afterbang today and thinking about how b/s and f/s 360's are fundamentally the same but f/s are technically harder because you dont see the landing. but a b/s 3 and a switch b/s 3 are the same because you see the landing as you land. and then i started to think how a natural and un natural 3 are the same because you see the landing at the same degree of rotation. and it made me think that switch should be named for 'unnatural' and b/s should be 'switch'. NOW instead of just telling me 'you can't do that, that's the way it is' tell me your opinion. also feel free to message me 'you can't do that, that's the way it is'

dude, exept its called unatural and natural because its more of a genetic thing, its like writeing your name with your right hand is easier than writeing it with your left (or vice versa) unless you ambidexterous one is easier than the other and some people spin left better than right so spinning right for them would be their unatural. so thats why i think it should stay the same

it's not only about being able to see the landing, it's easyer for like 80% of people to spin to the left. so it depends if youre reg. or not on a snowboard which determines what type of 360 is easyer.

Yeah every snowboarder I know says f/s is easier and says that is what they learned first. Think about just doing a f/s 180 vs a b/s 180. F/s is easier.

there is now way you can say which is easier, it is different for every single person, and in all my friends, most do backside. i think FS are way cooler though landing blind, like a BS 1

mommy i'm sorry but it is already changing to left and right side. it is just a matter of time. sure you can use natural to explain that your right side or left side is your natural, but that dosen't say shit about which way you are spinning. and yes i know that f/s and b/s doesn't either in snowboarding unless you know if the guy rides reg or goofy, but this is skiing and we are spinning left and right and not natural and unnatural.

^dont think that. It doesnt matter if left or right in my opinion. You can add it, but noone of us will know what your natural or unatty direction is. Maybe anyone should write it in their profile. Unnatural is harder than right. It can be the same, but just left or right doesnt says anything.

right side and left side is sooo fucking idiotic. it doesnt matter on skis, it looks the same both ways. FS and BS makes sense on a snowboard because theyre standing sideways, not forward. a bs 180 on a snowboard looks differnt than a fs 180, not on skis, asshole, not on skis.

i can do fakie 3s both ways (f/s & b/s) on my skateboards, but when it's not fakie (when it's normal), f/s 360s are much easier than b/s 3s for me.
