saw an add for sierra and teton skis in a house boardshop catalogue. They were claiming 150 dollars for some 171 park skis. For that price i would expect a full plastic ski with no metal edge.
Anybody on here have any experience with these skis?
Sierra, is actually a bike and ski shop. They rapair skis and bikes and have done that in over 30 years. Dont know if their ski is something to ride. Because I THINK thay started making them in 2010, wich makes them new in the industry and might have alot of "newborn problems". but im not sure.
I only buy quality skis wich is a bit more expensive.
I can't speak for Sierra skis but I bought a sierra snowboard and was extremely pleased. Whipped it just as hard as any of my friends burtons. I'd say they are probably a decent product. Most of these companies that "produce" their own gear just get their shit from another company and slap their own topsheets on them. I'd say go for it.
