Nordica ace of spade boot sizing?

Went to a boot fitter today and was fit into 27 dalbello krypton pro id. These felt good but i was told i could go a bit wider since my foot measured for a 100mm.
He recomended the Nordica Ace of spades, but I could not find a store in Whistler that carries them.
Ive checked backcountry and they have 26.5 27.5 28.5...in this years and last years model. But no 26,27 or 28.
I was wondering what the difference was between a 27 and a 27.5 in Nordicas AOS boot. In know the shell is the same size and I know most companies keep the liner the same size too. Anyone know ?

The half size boots are the same as the flat number sizes. Just get the 27.5 from backcountry. I have been to multiple ski shops and they all said the half sizes are a gimmick

There's unfortunately no correct way to say how they run since it depends on how your specific foot interacts with the shell, and this will be different for everyone. What might run big for one person can fit tight for another.

Ive tried on the dead money and the double six and I believe they are the same sahpe as the ace of spade just with a softer flex so I know they have a good fit for me. Just wondering about the the difference between a 27 and a 27.5 for nordica

should be just the liner. they use the same shell and just put different sized liners in there.

This is true. I have this years AoS, normally fit a 29.5, but went for the 29.0 as it was a nicer fit! So there is a difference I'm afraid. We can always post you a pair ;)

this. get the 27.5 and go back to this bootfitter and he can help stack under the footbed to take up any millimeter of space if necessary. with a good bootfitter, as long as you are close, they can make it work well.
as a side note I find it hard to believe no shops carry this boot in Whistler. but who cares. also, I should mention my buddy just picked up this exact boot at a surefoot. they had last year's model in the back at 40% off, NIB.

from what i was told by the people at Nordica, 27 and 27.5 should have the same shell and same liner, difference in fitting is provided by the insole (i wanted to put a 28 liner in my 28.5 boots, since the original liner packed out a bit - which is something, form what i read, that seems to happen quite often)

Yea I searched all the shops I could think of and asked those shops about other shops that carried nordica. Went to those shops but the closest I could find was the double six.
Anyways I picked up last years 27.5 off Backcountry for 330 shipped. Stoked! I know a bunch of the guys at the shops so they should be able to help me out for free.
