Colorado ski trip

So , I cheked around NS for diffrenece between colarado resorts.

I'd like to go to either breck or keystone but the other ones would rather go to vail/aspen/snowmass or telluride

my questions are : can you ski breck and keystone with one lift ticket ? Are there shuttles or its by chair lifts ?
Best night life ? coolest town ?
Is telluride really full of stubborn rich people ?
coolest locals ? Best tree runs ?


I'll also be attending a Denver Broncos vs SD Chargers game and I don't really want to travell 4 hours only for that.

So what are the significant differences between resorts ?

Breck, Keystone, A basin are all on the same ticket. I believe that vail deals are also included with a ticket to breck, but it depends on the date. They are close, but they're so big it would more be a "ski one each day", not "ski a few runs at breck, ski a few runs at keystone."
Aspen mountain, snowmass, aspen highlands and buttermilk have a similar arraignment.
As far as best nightlife goes, that depends on what you're into.Breck has more of a college crowd, as it is closer to denver/boulder. Aspen has more of a rich yuppie night life, but that doesn't always hold true eiither.
Telluride is my home mountain, and my favorite to ride. Yes, mountain village a bunch of rich douches, but the actual town has a great bar scene and more ski bums than aspen, in my opinion.
They also have great tree runs, but so does the rest of the state

These fools don't know what they are talking about. Take it from me (my name is Coskier after all), you are going to want to ski one place and one place only: Ski Cooper. Located just minutes from the beautiful and historic metropolis of Leadville, CO, Ski Cooper has all the big mountain, powder and park that a skier could ask for. Breckenridge gets a lot of hype for their park and pipe, but locals will tell you its really Ski Cooper that has the goods; they just don't advertise as much. Also, its only like 2 hours from Denver so you are all good on the Broncos game.

Well then it just depends when your gonna be around then. If it is early to mid December and and you only have one day to ski is guess either Breck or Keystone would be good there really close to Denver. Although if I were choosing I would go to Loveland or A-Basin. If you got some time to drive then I would highly recommend either Wolf Creek or Monarch, there smaller and have no nightlife at the hill, but the tree skiing is great at both places and Wolf Creek is pretty much 100% open right now. And finally if Crested Butte is has good coverage come here, because are locals are pretty fun and the nightlife in town is a blast.

Don't fall into the same trap that everyone does when they visit Colorado. Break and Keystone are wildly overrated, the best terrain is at mary jane, aspen highlands, silverton, and wolf creek.  As for night life, you can't go wrong with steamboat or telluride but its not hard to find bars at any of the 1-70 mountains.

Yeah guys don't be dicks in threads like these unless OP isn't serious..... I mean if OP were gullable he'd go to one of these shitty resorts you name and have the shittiest trip ever. Basically a waste of OP's time and money. While that may sound hilarious to you, it's not to OP. Be a community and support you're fellow skiiers aiight?

what would be more helpful is to know the op's duration of said trip. If your skiing like more than 5 days then the epic  and epic local passes come into play, that let you ski breck, keystone, a basin, vail etc.. all on one ticket

Ski Cooper is like 2 hours from Denver, what are you talking about? It is right outside Leadville which is like half an hour from Copper. And blacks are blues? It has the famous Chicago Ridge for experts.

With only 4 days of skiing, I'd recommend sticking to Vail. I know, its Vail, but they have great terrain, get decent snow, and have a decent park. It's decently close to Denver. If you had more days, keystone, breck a basin would be fun, and if you didn't have to go to denver right in the middle, Wolf creek, Silverton and Telluride would be the best in terms of snow, terrain, and night life respectively.

This is your best bet besides maybe Mary Jane.  Vail is a great resort with good snow and terrain except for the prices that go along with it, which is where Winter Park/Mary Jane come in.  A trip down south to wolf creek, silverton, and telluride is always where the best snow will be but these mountains are definitely less accessible if your trying to say around denver.

My home mountains are aspen. highlands, snowmass, and buttermilk. While breck and keystone have really fun parks, they are crowded, because of weekend traffic from denver. All of the resorts along the I-70 corridor are this way (copper vail keystone breck beaver creek loveland and abasin) If you are interested in the aspen area come check it out. Snowmass is a fun mountain with great parks and a pro sized pipe, also higher up on the mountain there is great powder and a few fun sidecountry gates. Buttermilk has a park from top to bottom which is pretty fun and highlands has great powder and big mountain skiing. Aspen mountain is fun too but there is no reason to ski there, because the other mountains have everything else covered. We are about 3 hours away from denver, and you could start up here and move your way toward denver. Aspen is full of rich snobby people, I can't lie, but there is a club called the belly up and as long as you are older than 16 you can get into most shows. I have seen Wu Tang, meth and red, ice cube, zion I, chromeo, the game, and zeds dead there. And they usually have some pretty good shows going on. If you decide to check the greater aspen area out, hit me up. hope that helped.

yeah all of them work with the same ticket, my favorite park is snowmass, but buttermilks has more terrain. I go to snowmass 9 days out of 10 and ski pow in the mornings and park in the afternoon.

If you go to aspen, you have to take a day and hike the bowl at aspen highlands.  Great views, great skiing, and less people compared to the other i70 resorts
