Just found out I've been skiing boots two sizes too big

I have had the same pair of boots for the last two seasons. They're Atomics, not sure of the model, just one of their all-mountain boots. I decided to look at some boots at my local shop while my friend was picking up his skis. I talked to the boot fitter and was sized, to my surprise, to a 25.5; my current boots are 27.5. I was never fitted for boots in the past; the guy who sold me my Atomics wasn't even a boot fitter, and I didn't know how important it was to be fitted. So I just figured since my shoes are a size 9 or 9.5 I'd be in a 27.5.
He had me in some Double Sixes and SPKs. I really loved the feel of the Nordicas, but the SPK's felt a little too narrow. I wanted to try some Full Tilts but they didn't have any in my size, however, the guy said he wasn't a big fan of them. Just wondering if anyone's tried the Double Sixes and what they think, whether Full Tilts are worth a shot, and if there are any similar boots you'd recommend.

You should get what fits, full tilts will fit very different to spk's as all of ns will tell you

If the spk is narrow than Fulltilts will probably be way to narrow, besides maybe the the booter and whateverthefuck the other one is.
I have double sixes, I like them, no real complaints. I wish I would have spent a little more time getting fitted and trying on different boots though. Dont limit yourself just to park and pipe boots though, because chances are they are just a softer more colorfull version of another boot. A boot you might want to try is the Dalbello Axium(?) those felt pretty nice when I tried them on.

I had the doubles six's for two days before i returned them. They didn't fit my foot right at all and ended up giving me horrible shinbang. I love the boot in general it just wasn't for me. Went back and got the dalbello voodoo and couldn't be happier with them.

well i was thinking of going from fulltilts to double sixes. i cant get fulltilts to get tight enough around my calf ( i dont have small calf) and the liners in the older booters are thin

I just bought the the booter yesterday, and I have slightly wider feet. I also tried on the dalbello voodoo and the hot dogger, but sadly they didn't have the spk or double six in my size to try on. The hot dogger fit pretty much the same as the booter, except it was slightly stiffer, and the cable system was annoying as fuck with the cable cover on. I'd try to find a place that deals full tilts just to try them on if I were you.
