Ok so last Christmas I got Rossignol S7.pro which are the junior kind, they are 160cm long and 90mm underfoot. I am 5'7 and 135 lbs and I am afraid these will hold me back this season. I ski at Alta mostly and I'll dabble on over to Brighton or Snowbird sometimes. These skis if you don't know about them have no rocker and don't confuse them with the real S7's. I am asking because I don't know if I should squeeze one more season out of these or try and save for new ones probably in the mid 170s to 180s range because I need room to grow into them. Also, I need to be able to ski those run-outs that are really choppy and I don't know if my skis will bel ong nough to provide good stability there. So ya if you reccomend I get new ones I would have a budget of max $500 for just the skis. Even that would be pushing it. I would like to keep it under 450$ for skis and then I would have to get new bindings so $550 total on the whole package I would say (or maybe bindings are more expensive). I was looking at some skis that are unmounted on ebay that would seem a little cheaper but yeah, what do you guys do as far as getting some good skis that you can't be spending $800 on and what should I be lookin for if I decide to go the used route
Oh yeah and I would like a ski that is rockered and at least 100mm underfoot (tail rocker is a bonus)
Thanks
