reason 1: Won't be made by bungie.

reason 2:
Halo 1-start the fight
Halo 2-continue the fight
Halo 3-finish the fight
Halo 4-we lied to you about finishing the fight

however so far all the games with numbers have been good and all those without have sucked, so perhaps 4... especially with new developers. bungie lost its way with reach/ODST

1: Halo 4 = still made by the same people, as most of the guys who worked on Halo have left bungee to join the new production team...

bungie and 343 are both under microsoft. in fact many of the people at bungie work at 343 too. so derp

and halo 4 is most probably going to be set on a forerunner planet. as in, a completely new fight/no more covenant. double derp

I don't understand why I didn't like Reach. Like it was really good and addicting for about a month, and after that it got stale really fast. Halo 3 on the other hand I played for years before I really got sick of it. Reach was impressive, but I don't know why it got so stale? Anybody else notice this?

Maybe it was a lack of friends buying the games, or maybe I was so used to a cod-style unlocking stuff when you level up, and the unlocking of pointless armor was well..pointless.

YEA that is fucking bullshit. I was so stoked on the game but then I saw that and now i could almost care less.

If they would take campaign how it is and put in the halo 2 style multiplayer I would jizz all over it.

Yea I mean they are all built by the forerunners so that is why they look the same. The covenant want to control them and the forerunners locked the flood away in them, so that is why there are the same fucking aliens.

I had an onyx in arena! I got super into that game for a month or so...

As for halo ive been on the bungie forums for years. Those who think 343 will bomb, are dumb as shit and know nothing about halo. 343 is more commited to the fans than Bungie will ever be. I can assure you they will make A True HALO game.

The only thing i can think of would be all of spark's robot friends since they turn against you at the end of Halo 3 and an entire game of sentinels and robots would be so boring. And remnants of the covenant would also be boring.

in case you dont know, spark is the little ball thing that's super hard to kill.

Well, when the first halo came out there really was no online multiplayer, only splitscreen (unless you had it for pc). So if you thought the first story was good you always wanted to see what happens next. I for one would rather play an interesting campaign then play against dipshit 12 yearolds online any day.

Lol. There was a time before online gameplay, where the storyline of a videogame was really all you had...

The first Halo practically MADE the Xbox. Without it, I don't see how it would have been able to compete with the PS2, and all the momentum it had going into that Console war...

lmao ya that game had a lot of flaws but they were fun flaws that MADE matchmaking on H2, now to what halo has come to (Reach) it sucks, u have armor lock which is completely terrible, and u have shotguns that can kill u from a mile away...dont even get me started about bloom...i miss 4shots :P

i will agree on the armor lock, i fucking despise it. there are so many flaws with it, hoping to god it somehow wont be in 4. and for the bloom, i just play the beta now - no headshot bloom in some gametypes.
